Join us for Class Acts Books, Arts, Music Fest at the Mahaffey Theater. This performing arts field day leads your students through 4 different interactive stations.
This fully immersive performing arts field trip takes students through a rotation four different art activities while learning social, emotional, and expressive skills linked to the Florida core standards. Giving Tree Music, https://givingtreemusic.com, will lead the students in a drum circle.
An art station will allow students to express their inner artist. Charades will be led by the Mahaffey staff, so students get a chance to act out and learn nonverbal communication. A book-give-away will offer students a book to take home with them to continue to grow their literacy skills and imagination. Water and snacks will be provided.
Interacting with the arts in an outdoor environment will give participating students a chance to express and create and enjoy the arts in a whole new way!
