The family and friends of William “Bill” Edwards invite the community to join them for a Celebration of Life at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18 at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg.
For those who knew Bill, it seems only fitting that the day be a true celebration.
Family, friends, colleagues, and members of the community will come together to share stories, memories, and plenty of laughter as they remember a man who lived life on his own terms and made an unmistakable impact on St. Petersburg and the Tampa Bay region.
Bill was known as a businessman, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and supporter of the arts, but to those closest to him, he was also a friend, mentor, partner, loyal husband, and loving father, and someone who believed deeply in his community and its people.
Over the years, his influence could be felt across business, entertainment, charitable causes, and the arts. The Mahaffey Theater was especially meaningful to Bill, making it a fitting place for the community to gather, remember him, and celebrate the many chapters of his life.
Rather than a traditional memorial, the afternoon will reflect Bill’s personality and spirit: heartfelt, lively, and filled with the stories that made him unforgettable.
The community is invited to attend and celebrate a life that was full, generous, and truly one of a kind.
