Are you interested in joining our mission to make the performing arts an integral part in the lives of local schoolchildren? We believe every student deserves access to a world of books, art, and music. Our free educational field trips on Mahaffey Theater’s plaza offer students a chance to engage in interactive activities such as art, acting, and drum circles. Volunteering at one of our BAM! Festivals is the perfect way to give students an unforgettable educational and inspirational experience that will last a lifetime.
About BAM! Fest:
BAM! Fest events are dynamic, interactive field trip experiences designed to introduce students to various performing arts activities. They offer a unique opportunity for students to explore their creativity, develop life skills, and, most importantly, have fun!

As a BAM! Fest volunteer, you’ll play a crucial role in making these events memorable for students. Here are the volunteer roles available:
● Group Leaders: Guide students through scheduled activities.
● Station Attendants: Assist at various event stations.
● Book Giveaway and Lunch Table Volunteers: Help manage these important aspects of the event.

What to Expect:
● Attire: Dress appropriately for an outdoor children’s event, following our guidelines for kid-friendly clothing.
● Food and Beverage: Bring a reusable water bottle; we provide water on-site and have water fountains for refills. Lunch will be provided for volunteers.
