Volunteer Opportunity for Live Shows and BAM! Fest Events!
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers for two exciting types of events:
Live Shows:
Assist our ushers in guiding students to their seats and get a chance to see one of our children’s performances! This is a great way to help students engage with the performing arts.
Arrival: Please be on-site at 9:30 AM for setup and a briefing.
Event Timing: You’ll be assisting until 11:30 AM, after which you are free to enjoy the one-hour show or leave if you need to.
Role: Assist ushers with seating and managing the audience.
BAM! Fest Events:
BAM! Fest is an interactive field trip experience that introduces students to performing arts through various activities, encouraging creativity and life skills development.
Arrival: Please be on-site at 9:30 AM for setup and a quick meeting.
Event Timing: Runs from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM, with cleanup until 2:00 PM.
Role Opportunities:
Group Leaders: Guide students through scheduled activities.
Station Attendants: Assist at various event stations.
Book Giveaway and Lunch Volunteers: Help distribute books and lunches to attendees.
Downtime: Depending on your station, there may be downtime, perfect for exploring the event and interacting with students.
What to Expect:
Attire: We will provide you with a volunteer shirt. Please wear something suitable for layering the shirt over or plan to change upon arrival.
Food and Beverage: Bring a reusable water bottle. Water is available on-site, and lunch will be provided for volunteers.
