Class Acts Program Presents ‘The Little Mermaid JR’

The Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts was thrilled to present two public performances of The Little Mermaid Jr., produced and performed by the talented students of the 2nd Annual Class Acts Summer Camp. After three weeks of dedicated preparation, the young performers brought the beloved tale of Ariel and her friends to the Mahaffey Theater’s stage.

“Over 60 students have been involved in this endeavor,” said Katrina Young, Education and Outreach Coordinator at the Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts. “The kids work so hard to perform, and it’s wonderful to see it culminate into a full-scale show that showcases their hard work these past three weeks. They’re especially excited to perform live on our stage—some for the first time.”

The public was invited to experience this magical journey under the sea as the young cast brought this enchanting underwater world to life. This production was a testament to our community’s youth’s creativity, dedication, and talent.
